League Configuration
RTTC Fantasy Football Leagues are dynasty leagues that will consist of 10, 12 or 14 team leagues. All players can be kept until the owner involves that player in a transaction, via a trade or a drop/add.
League Calendar
Annual League Rollover
All leagues will rollover each year soon after Sleeper opens for new seasons.
At the time of the league rollover, the off-season roster will increase to 50 players and Blind Bid money will be restored to $1,000 blind bidding dollars.
Annual Fees
All fees will be held in LeagueSafe.
For startup leagues, after all league members have paid their 1st and 2nd year dues, the draft order will then be randomized and posted on Sleeper to all owners. At this point, the league has started and no refunds will be given.
Active leagues will open for payment following the disbursement of league winnings and the rollover of the balance for the following season.
The deadline for paying into active leagues will be the Sunday before the NFL Draft. If dues are not paid by then, a replacement owner will be sought. LeagueSafe will send reminders; League commissioners will also send reminders via email as necessary.
Trade rights, waiver moves, etc., will be reinstated once a team has paid their future season league fee.
Any owner replaced for not paying on time will not be refunded their future league fee payments.
All non refunded league fees will be retained by RTTC or may be used to discount Orphan or Dispersal teams as needed.
Drafting
Startups
A startup league will be a combined draft of veteran and rookies.
The draft will be started within 2 days after the league has filled AND all owners have paid their league fee.
The last date for a league to fill will be on/around August 15th of each year.
The startup draft will be serpentine and 25 rounds; teams are not required to draft a full roster in the startup draft.
The draft will use an 8 hour clock for each pick.
The draft clock will be turned off at 11:00 p.m. CST and will be started again at 7:00 a.m. CST.
Commissioner may change times or clock duration at their discretion due to time of year for the draft, if there are international players, or if owners keep abusing the clock throughout the draft.
If an owner’s pick is timed out, the pick will automatically be made based on the Fantasy Shark recommendations for that team, unless they set a work list in the Live Draft Room or an owners My Draft List. The owner will also be placed auto draft for the remainder of the draft.
An owner may request to be removed from auto draft, but it will be at the commissioners discretion if it’s allowed.
Startup draft order will be randomized through Sleeper once the league is filled and paid for. Startup draft picks and future rookie draft picks can be traded before and during the draft. Rookie draft picks may also be traded until the trade deadline.
Rookie Drafts
The 4 round rookie draft will start the third Monday following the NFL draft for 2nd and future seasons.
Rookie draft order will be non-serpentine and based on the previous seasons finish.
Only NFL rookies are eligible to be drafted.
The rookie draft will use an 8 hour clock for each pick.
The draft clock will be turned off at 11:00 p.m. CST and will be started again at 7:00 a.m. CST.
Waivers and free agency will be closed during any draft, but trades of both players and picks are allowed. Owners will have the ability to drop players during the draft.
The draft order will be determined by regular season standings for non playoff teams(14th-1.01,2.01,3.01,4.01). The winner of the Super Bowl will receive pick 1.14; the winner of the Third-Place game will receive pick 1.12 and so on.
All drafts are long form over email/Sleeper app notifications. You must set up your notifications within Sleeper to receive emails and/or app alerts for when you are on the clock. Once notified, you will still go to the Sleeper app or website to make your selection.
Regular Season
The regular season will last from week 1 of the NFL season through week 14 of the NFL season.
Playoffs
The regular season will end after week 14 and the playoffs will begin in week 15 and go through week 17.
There will be a 6 team playoff for the championship. The best 5 records will take the top seeds in the playoffs. The final playoff spot will be awarded to the team with the highest point totals for the season that hasn’t already qualified for the playoffs based on record.
Tiebreakers will be broken first by points scored and then by H2H record.
Seeds 1 and 2 will receive first round byes. Week 15 will see match-ups between the 3 and 6 seeds and the 4 and 5 seeds. In week 16, the semifinals, the #1 seed will play the winner of 4v5 match-up and the #2 seed will play the winner of 3v6 match-up. Week 17 will match-up the two winning team from the semifinals in the Rise to the Challenge Super Bowl as well as a Third-Place game between the losers from the semifinals.
Toilet Bowl
The eight teams that do not advance to the playoffs will participate in the Toilet Bowl playoffs. The teams in the Toilet Bowl will be seeded one through eight based on the standings, with the number one seed going to the team with the worst standing (12 team leagues have #1 and #2 seeds receiving byes).
The Toilet Bowl champion will receive half of the value of league dues credited towards the next years league dues payment.
Trades
Trade rights during the off-season will not be re-instated until the team has paid in for the future season fee.
All trades are executed upon acceptance by both owners involved on the league website. Teams are allowed to trade at their discretion. If a team is found to have colluded in a trade, those teams will be removed from that league (as well as any other leagues they may be participating in) and will not receive a refund for any league.
At the conclusion of each trade, each roster must not exceed 25 players in season; the roster should not exceed 50 players in the off-season after a trade. A reasonable grace period will be allowed for any add/drop or trade to make the roster requirements. During the regular season there is a hard deadline of kickoff on Sunday to be at roster requirements.
The Trade Deadline will be the kickoff of Week 13 match-ups.
Waivers
Waiver rights during the off-season will not be re-instated until the team has paid the leagues future season.
Off-season waivers
Off-season waivers will start the first Monday after the RTTC rookie draft has been completed.
Off-season waivers will be Blind Bid only. Blind Bid dollars will not rollover from the previous season; they will be restored to $1,000 blind bid dollars for the entire league year.
In-season waivers
In-season waivers will be both blind bid and first come, first serve (FCFS).
Blind bid waivers will run each Thursday at 9 am EST during the season.
FCFS waivers will be open once blind bid waivers process and until Kickoff on Sundays.
Roster Expansion/Cut-downs
In-season rosters will be 30 players and must be cut-down by the Monday of Week 1.
When the league rolls over on MFL, the rosters will expand to 40 players.
Roster Settings
Players are locked at the kickoff of their game. An owner may change the starting lineup status for a player whose game has not yet started.
RTTC leagues will not use any team defenses or kickers. The starting lineup cannot include any players on a bye week or skill position players listed as out or inactive according to the league’s final injury report prior to game day.
Refunds will not be given to people who are removed from the league due to rules violations. When joining RTTC leagues you are agreeing to manage your team(s) to the best of your ability and that includes setting a competitive starting lineup every week. It is at the commissioners sole discretion as to whether a team is attempting to tank or play a competitive lineup.

Tanking
Tanking, in any form, will not be tolerated in any RTTC league.
Starting lineups should be submitted as complete and in the best interest of that team winning.
Owners are expected to submit a competitive roster. This includes, but is not limited to starting partial and/or incomplete lineups or starting players on a bye week.
If you are habitually starting players that are injured or are clearly not in your lineup to help you win, the commissioner reserves the right to remove you from the league.
If an owner is found guilty of tanking, he will be removed from the league immediately.
If an owner is removed during the season, there will be no refund of league fees.
Any opening during the season will be filled as soon as possible with a new owner.
If no new owner can be found at that time, the commissioner will manage the team by submitting the best possible lineup, but will not entertain any trades. Any winnings for that team will rollover to the league pot for the following year and added to the Champions payout.
Orphaned Teams
At the conclusion of the fantasy season, any owner planning to leave the league should notify the commissioner as soon as possible. Any team leaving will not receive a refund for their future season paid, but they may find a replacement owner themselves that will cover that fee.
The commissioner will fill any other orphaned teams with new owners. If there are multiple orphaned teams in the league, the commissioner may host a dispersal draft. All new owners will participate and will choose from players and picks owned by the previously orphaned teams. Also, in the event of a dispersal draft, all current owner will also have the option to “abandon” their current roster/picks and participate in the dispersal draft.
Commissioner
The RTTC commissioner may, at their discretion, make any changes to the listed Rules or Settings of any RTTC leagues, that they feel serve in the best interest of the league or RTTC as a whole.
